I got the job :)
So I didn't say anything until I got my formal offer letter and told my old boss, but I got the new job! It's doing bookkeeping for a local restaurant franchise. Best part is it's a work from home gig, and I'll have 2 meetings a week to go to outside the house. I'll be able to put Vdub in part-time daycare, and keep her at home with me 3 days! They're really flexible about hours, so I can also try to work my schedule to fit with DH's, since he often works weekends and has a random Monday off or something.
I was worried about telling my old work, and my boss might have been pissed but didn't curse or yell at me (which I was afraid he'd do... and part of why I left that job, lol). So anyway, I start Monday, which cuts maternity leave down from 12 weeks to 6, but I'm ready to go back both mentally and financially. However, since she'll still be home with me 5/7 days a week, I'm not that upset about it.
I'm so so so happy, this really is the most perfect opportunity for me right now. I'm so glad nothing else I had applied to or interviewed for panned out in the past year, this was meant to be!
