What's up this evening?
Kids are playing, will go to bed early, they are getting tired, & since DH is at the Cubs/Reds game, he won't get back to his hotel until late to Skype, so I'll put them down earlier. Then I'll watch the Tigers as I put out my *gasp* fall stuff, I guess it's time to get that stuff out while I have some free time.
Also, I hate how it's getting darker earlier, that's probably the thing I love about summer is it lighter out late. *sigh*

Taking a break from being poked and prodded
I'm here! I just got in from cleaning up around the garden and pulling out all of the dead plants and weeds... I have also been feverishly filing mail and cleaning up piles around the house (DH is a piler). I feel like I have gotten a TON done this evening (all the stuff that I never feel like I can get done when DH is here...)
I haven't even had dinner yet. Fortunately I have some leftover risotto from last night. I also feel like I diserve a glass of wine, because my house looks 1000x better than it did 3 hours ago!

It's about an hour after the last post... but I'm here for a bit too. Had to run out around 7:00 to get my brother's mail/paper in Canton and went to the grocery store. What fun.
Now I'm home attempting to relax after putting the groceries away and folding some laundry. I still have to iron some of DH's clothes for tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. I'll probably put that off as long as possible because that's just how I roll.
I will now entertain myself by reading "Ten Things Tuesday" and responding.
