kps..

was today your hour glucose test?

Re: kps..

  • Yep, it was.  I got the drink down better than I thought I would.  It made me think of gummy worms that melted in the sand because it was so sweet but gritty.  Now I get to wait until the office calls me to know how I did.  I forgot to ask how long it takes to hear the results. Hopefully, I passed!!

  • Glad to hear it went ok, I was thinking about you today as well.  How is your back doing?

Also, I never heard results from my glucose test after I did it a month ago, and when I went in the nurse told me I needed it-and I had to tell her I already had it and then she saw the results, luckily it was normal!   I was assuming no news was good news and I would hope that if it was abnormal they would have called me, but you might want to call if you don't get results in a week or so.

  • what flavor did you have? I had the orange and it tasted like flat sunkist!!! Hope you passed too- I had to take the 3 hr and passed that one

I heard back immediately when I failed mine since I had to take the 3 hour. Always assume NNIGN (No News Is Good News) when it comes to stuff like that cause trust me, if it's bad news most places will jump right on it, esp with how serious GD is for mom & baby. I hope you don't have it, because I wouldn't want you (or anyone) to have to deal with the fears/worries/potential risks that come along with GD.
