What's your good news of the day?
I'm getting divorced on Monday--yay!
ETA: Yes I know I'm being a total AW (sorry FB ppl who are reading this twice--it's just the most exciting thing in my life right now)

Re: Good News Wednesday!
Hooray! I will raise a glass in your honor.
My good news: Nothing will suck as bad as yesterday, ever. It's all uphill from here!
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
On my way to a meeting yesterday, a man in a van by the crosswalk stopped. I thought he was doing so to let me cross, but instead he rolled down his window and said "I just wanted to tell you that you look simply beautiful, really pretty."
I was so stunned I told him he made my day! And the man chairing the meeting said he loved my accent!
I asked DH is I am getting hotter and he said that I am not slutty cheerleading hot (his words, not mine, no offense to any former cheerleaders!) but more an elegent Audrey Hapburn hot that continues to get better over time. I hope that's true!
This would have made my day. Now I really want to meet you too!
That's awesome! We're headed to the Maldives in November.
My good news is that I finally got my glucose tolerance test out of the way this morning! I was supposed to do it a few weeks ago, but the glucose drink made me sick so I had to go back and try again.

5K - 24:57 10M - 1:28:20 13.1M - 1:57:29 26.2M - 4:28:29
That sounds so exciting! I really want to go there! Hope it is a blast!
I found all my missing workout clothes... my husband has been "stealing" my socks and t-shirts and throwing them in with his clothes...
Guess I am off to a run this afternoon before my WW meeting.
BF just left for an epic five-day business trip. It's not good news that he's gone, but it is good news that he's going to have a great trip!
My good news is that I'm being considered for a move within the company -- to project management! I'm getting tired of this site management gig at Kennedy and the pay is just ridiculous. I've gained a lot of experience in a little time, so hopefully this will work out. The senior PM really wants me and talked to her boss about me...fingers crossed that I hear something back! I would do anything to have weekends again and a normal job.
My grandparents arrived today to meet their great grandchild!! I have them here for 10 days (they're staying with my parents).
You will have to report back here on your trip because H and I are going in June. I want to hear all about it.
Loving all this!
I'm going out tonight and tomorrow with friends. Will probably get tired and head home at 9pm but this is the first week in a while that I've even felt like trying to socialise.
BFP Apr 2012, EDD Dec 19 2012 * twin h/b at 6wk, 9wk scan * Baby A lost at 12wks, Baby B was my rainbow born at 36wks
I have a job!
I'm going to Paris with my man in October, and I'm 99% sure he's spending Christmas with me in Canada.
It's less windy than it was the past 2 days.
It's almost lunch time.
SO jealous!! Where are you staying? I can't wait to hear all about it. We reeeally want to go there.
That's awesome
So glad to hear things are going so well! Congrats on the new job
So much good news on here!! Love it!
In the past 6 days I've only had one bulimic episode, which is a major improvement over the past month, at some points it was 5-6 times per week. I think last week was a major break through, I hope it stays.
And my new university has a FREE gym and pilates and spinning classes! I'm so excited
Please, please don't binge
.
I don't know that blushing meant it this way, but I took it as she planned on over-indulging on chocolate instead of binging like one does with an ED. Nothing wrong with scarfing down too much chocolate on occasion.
I don't do it often, maybe once every 4/5 months, but I will eat too much chocolate to the point when I get sick/make myself sick. I am going through a rough time at the moment so this is how I deal with it. I don't consider it to be an eating disorder because it does not happen often (This morning I had half a bag of choc twirls, 2 choc mousse and 2 tiramisu before I felt ill, normally it takes more than that).
My Israel Blog!
Also, I get to see Sheks, Mr. Sheks, puppy Sheks and in-da-belly baby Sheks on Sunday!!! I'm totally crashing your hotel with pizza once you get checked in
Deal...I'm gonna FB you now.
My Israel Blog!
I realized that when I go home next month I can have pumpkin spice lattes.
Two friends have had their babies in the last couple days.
Yay for your divorce! Congrats!
Everyone else's good news is awesome!
My good news is just that I am having so much fun since M has started school. Lunch with friends, drinks in the afternoon, time to clean on my own, time for fun with H. I am seriously not missing M at all! (hopefully that doesn't make me a bad mom).
These were so much fun to read. I'm jealous of everyone and their Maldives trips! PIP on return so I can live vicariously through you...
Good news for me is that we got our Abel and Cole delivery today. I went from a nearly empty fridge to one bursting with delicious veggies, hummus, spicy veggie burgers, fresh mozzarella and pizza base, minced bison meat, etc. I grin like a kid on Christmas every time I open the fridge.
Also, it's bday time for H and me next week, and we've started getting packages and cards in the post. I'm saving them all for the day of and have the dorkiest 'happy birthday' table cloth to put out for the week.
I think there might be a five-year-old somewhere inside of me...
Wow, lots of good news! Congrats to all.
I'm especially jealous of the Maldives!
The best news of my day is a work trip was canceled for next week. I generally don't have to travel a lot, so I try not to complain when I do, but the timing of this was terrible... b/c we were leaving for Paris next Friday (that's good news too, right?). Anyway, long and short, no work trip, so I can keep up at work and still go to Paris as planned!
And for those w/ super good memories... this weekend (Monday actually), we'll see Jimmy Buffett in Paris! Horribly American, I know and don't really care! Am sure it will be great and promise to do more "culturally responsible" things the rest of the weekend.
Cheers!
