That suuuucks. There's almost nothing back there but burnable brush. I couldn't tell from the view how close the burn was to Hwy 6 but that could really be problematic if it continues to burn for very long.
Our neighborhood is covered in smoke... Freaking me out a little, it's only a few miles away.
OK, I live at Clay & 6 (ish). How near to me is the fire? I JUST moved up this way from the Woodlands.
ETA*** Nevermind. I stepped outside and looked. There is a large cloud of smoke and it smells like a campfire.
We're across Fry from the park. We can see and smell smoke - and hopefully that's as close as it gets.

I saw it when I was coming back to town from Spring and heard about it on the news shortly after seeing it. We live @ 1464 & Beechnut and it was making me nervous. I'm glad no homes were affected.
