Anyone up for a Dedham GTG?

LadyE tried to organize one earlier this year but we were all lame and ended up having to bail on her for various reasons.  I still really want to do it though and wanted to see who else might be in.

We picked Dedham as a halfway point for the ladies who are more south since we've done at least a handful of Metro West GTGs that are too far for them.  We'd do it at the Yard House at Legacy Place, per LadyE's suggestion.  It would also be a on weekend.

Who's interested?  Would 9/24, 9/25, 10/8, or 10/9 work better for you?  Those are the only foreseeable weekends that work for me.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Anyone up for a Dedham GTG?

  • I vote for a Sunday. 10/9 works better for me. DH is going to Thailand for over a week and won't be back until the evening of 9/24, so I think that whole weekend will be out for me. But I'm also available 10/8.

And we don't need to go to the Yard House. In my Eggies thread, I decided to abandon my Yard House dreams. All hope is lost.

  • Wow, your DH does way more travel than mine does.  Too bad you and DS can't go to Thailand with him!

I responded about Yard House in the other thread, but we can look at other restaurant options later.  Sticking with Legacy Place makes sense though I think.

  • Sounds good to me!

And yeah, my H says he's on 50% travel, but I think it's a little more so. I would love to go to Thailand with him! And DH keeps trying to plan vacations, too. I'm just being a total weenie about flying with DS.

  • 10/8 would be great for me. No dice for the 9th. I'd love to meet y'all!

  • If I am welcome and you all want to see my smiling face, I can see if I can come up for it.  Not sure where Dedham is, but seeing how I know no one in the area, I am willing to travel for friends Stick out tongue

I will definitely be up the weekend of the 23rd because I have two interviews on the 23rd itself.  If not, I might be able to travel up.  I miss my husband, so any excuse to see him.

  • So far it sounds like 10/8 will accommodate the greatest number of people....

  • It's football season, so I have a lot of free time....unless I want to spend my day watching DH yelling at the TV Smile

    10/08 works for me...

Pup, We could meet up in our area, and I can drive us out there.
