As if telling that bridesmaid off wasn't enough, I had a gut feeling she was lying to me. Something didn't make sense. So, I logged into LJ and checked her journal. Posted in her journal on Sunday, 9/11, I found this:
Yesterday I met my friend Jane Smith in LB and we got pizza and rode bikes on the boardwalk and stopped by the Quicksilver Pro Store, where I got BF a t-shirt. For dinner we had chinese @ Jani, then played mini-golf, then came back here and watch "The Terminal" on tv.
You f*cking b*tch.
You f*cking LIED to me, and now I've caught you.
This is going to be ugly, and I don't care. I'm done. I'm F*CKING DONE.

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

Re: Aaaaaaaaaaand I'm DONE.
oh wow, I don't blame you. I'm so sorry that you were treated this way, but you deserve way better out of a friend.
WOW. That's seriously not cool. You know, it's one thing if she had already made those plans way in advance and couldn't come to your party....but to bail and then lie about it is just plain wrong, especially telling you it was a family emergency. That kind of lie just makes people worry...and it's not ok in anyway to do that to someone! And kind of stupid if she was just going to post what she was really up to online...where the person she lied to could read about it...
You deserve way better than to have a "friend" treat you that way. I totally understand your feeling of having had enough. I totally don't blame you...I'd be beyond angry too...
WOW. she just needs to be completely out of your life, she is a poisonous person.
I wouldn't even both bringing that up to her, not worth your time at all. Just end it completely and never speak to her again.

I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
Ditto Kim. Totally not worth your time and energy to bring it up to her. Just be done with her all together - she's clearly not a good person. You don't need to continue to deal with her and all of her crappiness.
This. She's not even worth the time to get mad at her. So sorry you had to go through this but glad you found out what kind of person she truly is.
