Thanks to my lovely messed up body, I took the last pill of my life yesterday.
I am unclear on one thing about charting after coming off the pill. ?Does it matter if I start doing it right away? ?I only ask because I know that your body goes nuts right after coming off of the pill and you won't be able to tell anything from the charts anyway. ?Also, I don't have a fahrenheit thermometer right now and would have to take my temp in celsius until next month when someone can bring me a fahrenheit thermometer from the States.
What do you think? ?Should I start now in C and do the conversion to F or should I wait and start after my next period? ?
Re: @ charting
your body doens't always goes nuts after the pill -many people are regular right after.
You *should* satart charing the first day of your AF, cycle day 1. I never got AF until a few days into my "placebo week" so if you are anything like me you should still have a day or three until your AF and so your 1st cycle starts.
you could start temping now just to get into the habit of it and get used to plotting stuff on your chart or using fertilityfriend.com. it took me a while just to not be nervous about it and get into the groove of remembering to not get up to pee until after my temp time, etc.
I'd chart your first cycle in Celsius. Then next cycle go Fahrenheit.
I agree with sugr. It takes a while to get used to charting so I'd start now and consider this a practice month. If you just finished your placebo/AF week then you're a week into this first cycle. If not, then whenever you get your AF is day 1.
Start now and do the conversion to F--if for no other reason than to get in the habit of doing it every morning.
I was off BC for 6 months before I was able to pinpoint ovulation, by the way--it can take a while post-BC before your body settles back into its own thing.
Anything you can achieve through hard work, you could also just buy.
