Another moving question...
The new neighborhood we are going to has AT&T U-verse...I'm confused with all the packages.
If you have them, which tv package do you have (U-family, U-200, U-300, etc)?
If you have internet through them, do you have upgraded (Elite or Max) or just the Pro?
And now I'm see the phone package has a limit on talk time? 250 minutes unless you go with the max package? That's kind of crappy! I wanted to add a home line because I don't know what my cell service will be like but 4 hrs a month is ridiculous.

We have U-Verse and love it. We have U-450 (it includes all the movie channels) and Internet pro. In my experience customer service is great.
Not sure about the phone service since we don't use it.
Thanks! I figured out you can make your own package and they still give good deals doing that, so I can upgrade the phone without upgrading everything else.
We've been with Comcast for so long, I'm so ready to try something different!

Pro internet is the basic one right? No problems with speed or anything?
No problems. We don't stream more than a few cartoons though. You can always upgrade if you want faster. I've changed my package several times.
I very rarely stream anything. Most of what I do is play on FB and message boards.
Oh and online banking/bill pay.
I pay for U200 & the basic internet, but we get U450 & the elite internet.
We just call them everything 6 months & threaten to quit if we don't get the same deal. They never give us a hard time about it at all. Love U-verse.
It just became available in our hood late last year. Maybe you're next!
I'll defect and say we had a terrible time with U-verse and finally ended up demanding that our phone and internet be switched back to our old DSL package and dropped TV. The TV worked fine but the phone and internet connection was not reliable, and I WAH and could not deal. We had 19 service tickets over the period of 1yr, had the gateway replaced 2x, wiring redone, connections with the alarm redone, and yet the phone and internet would cut out 5 or more times per day. It was ridiculous.
I have nothing but a white-hot hate for U-Verse.
That sucks! I hope we have better experience with them than that.
Well where we are now, we can't get AT&T. I think because it's a new neighborhood we are going into, AT&T decided to get their butts in there quickly.
