Intro!
Hello ladies! Im a 24 year old army wife. I have a DD, Madison who is 3 months old. Right now im living in upstate NY while DH is away at school. He got hurt while deployed so he had to switch his MOS. In Jan we are moving to Ft. Riley. Hmm thats pretty much it. I just wanted to introduce myself quick.

Well I actually grew up here. Im living with my mom to save money while dh is at school. We were screwed over by the army for the last year and a half so we need to get our savings back. Its a long story but lets just say our household good have been packed up and in N.C for 2 YEARS in Feb.
Do you know if on-post housing is worth the wait? We are on the list now but ive heard so many things from different people about if we should wait for it when we get there or not. I dont mind waiting a couple weeks or so if its going to be a nice place, but I dont want to wait if we could get something better off post.

I have a gf who is at Fort Riley. They had a terrible time with on-post housing so they bought a house off post. I moved back in with my mom for a while too, I bet she loves having her granddaughter there
