What is your favorite music?

What is your favorite genre of music?

Re: What is your favorite music?

  • I like many types of music, but my favorite is probably 90s grunge/post grunge, followed by early 90s hip hop and dance and 80s pop.

I'm not really a fan of country though.  I only like a few country songs. I really dislike older country.

  • Mostly country, 90's rock.

  • country.

i love taylor swift. blake shelton. but idk if i could pick just 1 as a favorite.

  • I cant just pick one either but I really like Carrie Underwood and Brantley Gilbert, I cant stand older country lol

  • I don't think I can pick one genre.  My Ipod is a all over the place.   Variety is the spice of life.

You'd find stuff by Don Williams, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Lenny Krevitz

At the moment I am also very into Alice in Chains, Cake, Katy Perry, Foster the People, Wallpaper.

  • I'm all over the place too. My ipod has pretty much everything: from Metallica, NIN, Nirvana, Andrea Bocelli, Bon Jovi, Lykke Li, Hooverphonic, Sneaker Pimps, Lynryd Skynryd, CCR, Sade, 2-Pac, Jay-Z, Nas to Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley. I really can't think of one genre I don't enjoy, except maybe old timey Loretta Lynn-type country.
  • I can listen to just about anything from Classical to Oldies (like 50's and 60s) to Metallica to Eminem.  I'm not much of a Country fan or hardcore Rap, but there are a couple of exceptions.   I really can't pick a specific genre that I like the most.
  • My favorite singer of all time is Nat King Cole.  My Sirius stations can tell you a bit about my musical taste;  Franks Place, 40s, 50s, 60s (love Cousin Brucie!), 90s, and today.  Though I was a child of the 80s, I definitely prefer "mainstream" from other decades more.
  • I'm trying to add music to my iPod but I don't want to put the songs I hear all day on the radio

  • Indie rock.  I get a lot of musician/song ideas from TV shows.

  • mostly hardcore, posthardcore, 90's rock, and country. favorite singers/bands are Every Time I Die, Thursday, Norma Jean, AFI, Smashing Pumpkins, Wallflowers, Bruce Springsteen, Killers, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, and several more.

  • I'll listen to almost anything. I have a real soft spot for German music though, any genre. I dunno why but something about it is really awesome to me.

I also really like metal, punk, goth, and techno. I've also still got a thing for all the pop music I listened to in middle school and high school.

  • The main music I listed to is country, and in that genre, I like Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Jo Dee Messina, Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans, Darius Rucker, Sugarland, Little Big Town, and Zac Brown Band, among others.

I also like some non-country stuff, like Adele, Jack Johnson, Howie Day, Bruno Mars, Michael Buble, Josh Ritter, The Fray, Snow Patrol, Christina Perri, John Mayer, and KT Tunstall, among others.

I also really like classic rock. And my all-time favorite group is the Indigo Girls. I have loved them since I was a freshman and college and will love them forever.

So basically, my musical tastes are a whole lot of randomness...

ETA - Oh! And my favorite song from high school is "Two Princes" by the Spin Doctors. I love hearing that song...it always takes me back!

  • I love R&B, Hip Hop and Country.

I feel like I'm getting old because I'm not a fan of the new Hip Hop- I prefer things from the 90's and some stuff from the 2000's. S/N- is that how you say that?

Currently I'm digging Adele, Kelly Rowland, Drake, Lil Wayne, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton.
