My Visa just arrived ........

I just signed for my passport which now has a pretty visa inside!!

The Visa is only for 8 months but my greencard will be sent to me within 1 - 2 months once ive entered the US!!

 Its really happening!! I am moving to the US with my hubby!!

Re: My Visa just arrived ........

  • Congrats!!!!  Hubby and I are waiting 2 years to get his green card.. we are planning on being in the UK until 2015 at least anyways.

    I hate visas... mine caused so much stress multiple times.  We ended up getting legally married 9 days before our catholic wedding bc UKBA insisted that it took 15 working days and waiting means I would have missed our reception in England.  We did biometrics monday, overnighted it and they mailed it back wed with my visa... so I had it before the planned wedding...  Their lies and over-efficiency still frustrate me!

  • Congrats!

    Yeah I too hate visas.  I am waiting for my ILR to come back, I applied in the begining of July.

    Not to mention the expence!

  • Congrats! When are you heading to the US?

    We are about to star the process for renewing ours in a few weeks, I'm hoping it goes as smoothly as last year.

  • So we're all in agreement....the crap surrounding visas are the worst thing ever.

    ::gavel::

    Where are you moving in the US?

  • Visas can be a pain. I had to jump through a million and one hoops to get my French visa/residency permit when I was studying overseas. Good luck!
