What phone to get H?
We have Tmobile. He wants a smart phone so he can start checking his work email remotely. Any recs for a simple start phone? I have an HTC windows phone right now and love it.

It depends on how much time he wants to spend fiddling with his phone to get it to do exactly what he wants.
If he doesn't want to fiddle, probably the G2 (made by HTC). It's a lot more user-friendly, they are way better than Motorola about patching the phone for problems; HTC has the most market share so apps tend to run better on it, etc.
If he likes fiddling, my work friends love their Nexus S, which is "pure" Android. But "pure" android is actually kind of clunky, so they spend a lot of time customizing it.
Also there are rumors that the iPhone 5 (which is coming pretty soon) is going to be on every carrier, so, it may be worth waiting if he wants an iPhone.
ETA: I'm on Verizon, so the phone options are different for me. One of my good friends has a G2 and swears by it; lots of people at work have the Nexus S but they are uber-geeks.

Bry and I are on Tmobile and love it. I have the mytouch 4g and I am in LOVE with my phone. Bry runs a Blackberry and loves his...says mine has too much technology for him. Guess it all depends on what he wants...fun phone or boring business. LOL

My BILs both have the Windows phone and love it. My DH has the iPhone 4 and loves it. I have a Blackberry Torch and love it.
