Passports

Ok is it just the UK or are the applications for passports everywhere ridiculous??  I have to get a new one before march and the application makes me want to never travel again. Oh and to add to it I need my passport to say "otherwise known as "my husbands last name" and I've no clue how to put it on th application but they say that you can do it!

Re: Passports

  • No idea about the UK ones but the US ones are pretty straight forward.  The Greek ones however are just stupid.  There isn't even an application.  You have to go in person and they take your details and you had better make sure that they actually take your details correctly.  Oh, and you have to be a mind reader on what paperwork you need to bring with you.  The Greek embassy drives me batty,

  • I'm not sure about first passports since my mom got my first one for me when I was 7 :) but the renewals are not terrible. You can do the whole thing by mail. My last 2 passports I even took my own PP photos on my phone and printed them out on photo paper.
