Hey ladies! Hope everyone is well! I've been lurking....as usual! But just have to vent.
Sooo, it seems I have bad luck with getting all the crazies after me at work. Why me?! lol. I don't know if anyone remembers but about a year or so ago I had a girl threaten to beat me up several times because she liked to shoplift and I said something every time she came in our store, because of this. Well when I told my manager it was her or me....he banned her from the store. So she's not allowed on our property anymore.
Well, yesterday I was minding my own business....ya know, working. This guy (at first I had no idea who he was, after the fact....I put two and two together and I know his dad...but not him personally), walks up from behind me and grabs my a$$. I jump and then I hear him whisper, "I know my daddy's into you, but I can show you a better time..." (rubbing my back while he's whispering this...). Then he walks away and exits the store. This all happened in a matter of probably 10 seconds or so (him grabbing me and saying that to me). I was just in complete shock...couldn't move/speak....nothing.
I had three associate's actually see what happened....two were asking me what just happened and I was like...."I don't know....". The third person thought he was my boyfriend since he was all over me like that. I told my managers and the person that works in security and they all said I should file a report so he wouldn't think he could come in and do it again (I hate confrontations,etc.....but I agree, I don't want him thinking I'm okay with what he did). So an officer came and I told him everything that happened. They're going to serve him with a warrant (he has charges for assaulting women already on his record). I'll probably have to go to court.....so yeah. Why me? ![]()
People ask me "why didn't you slap him, say something, scream." I replay it in my head over and over and I ask myself....why didn't you do something besides stand there? It freaked me out....big time....but I just froze. I wish I would've done something. One of my managers actually had the nerve to say, "maybe she liked it" to another associate while I was standing there. Seriously?! Ugh. I just wish it never happened.
Anyway.....thanks for letting me vent.
Re: I am bad luck....lol. :-P (very long...)
Ugh! I'm sorry. I hope that jerk don't come near you again.
