Hmm...well...not much to report here...with work and being sick, I've gotten pretty much ZERO done on anything lately.
I guess i could post this - i planted these hostas this summer (transplanted from some other person's house that wanted to get rid of them). And then we mulched them a few weeks back. Nothing fancy. The rest of my house/yard still looks like SH!T

Re: Wednesday Workshop
no real projects here. I still need to organize/clean the back bedroom. I want to hang up a few more pictures/print new pics and we need to order our canvas print.
I also want to reorganize our pantry space. It's kinda a mess right now.
Oh - and I want to figure out a better way to organize my makeup and hair stuff. Since our bathroom is small and doesn't have any storage, I have one of those plastic drawer thingies (like this ) that sits on my dresser. One drawer is for my hair stuff and some random ointments (neosporin, eczema cream, etc). Another is for all my makeup. And the last one is sort of a random mix - but it's mainly nail stuff. Anyway, I ordered some new makeup (I really want to start a. wearing a little more and b. actually learn how to do my makeup!) and I decided I need a better, less college-like way to organize my dresser top. Suggestions?
i've been busy. Put up wall decals in my sons room of a train. Decals in the kitchen for my Margarita theme. Made my son a lamp shade with hot wheels on it. Finally hung all my picture frames and we got our Family foundation sign too. I have the pictures on facebook if you're my friend you've probably already seen.
Now to tackle all the paperwork and junk on the table in our bedroom. It's such an eye sore. I have no idea what to do or how to organize.
Can I just say, I can't wait for Christmas. Pintrest has given me so many ideas, I can't wait.
I worked on organizing my office at home this weekend... but work has been crazy so I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked. .
We bought this armless chair for the living room. I didn't want to spend a ton, and our living room is small (and so is the chair).
We also bought new blinds for our bedroom... the ones we had came with the house and are getting kinda gross.
I am FINALLY picking out wedding pictures for us to print & hang. And I need to make a photo book or two, too (thanks to groupons).
With the exception of needing to replace the coffee table, we finished the living room! The curtain rod is hung, the curtains are draped and swagged, and we got our Venetian mask and our frame gallery up on the walls. We're still a few photos short for the frames, but they're coming soon.
We also hung one picture in the dining room. Now, if only the rest of the dining room would arrive...
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
we ripped out all of our trees/shrubs in front of our house and are starting from scratch. The guy who is going to be doing the planting for us said that we need to have everything done by the end of the month so it's kind of crunch time. I am going to meet with him this week to finalize everything.
we also ordered 3 new windows to be installed that should come in in about 2-3 weeks, and will be installed after that.
and we are having baseboards installed cause we found someone to do it cheaply enough to justify not trying to do it ourselves since I have heard installing baseboards is way harder than you would think.
