I wouldn't lump the normal ones in with the Salahis - and they've been fame whores WAY before the Housewives - they just hit pay dirt with the show!

Are the RHDC ever return for a second season? I kinda hope not. They were a snooze fest except for crashing the WH.
Thankfully, it was canceled after the first season. I didn't like any of them.

They're local and so it ran on the 4 p.m. evening news as a headline. I told one of my friends that she either left him for someone else without telling him, or they did it as a publicity stunt because they needed the money. He did a good job of playing the concerned husband.
But I love that they came back at 11 p.m. and said she was safe. HA HA HA.
