What did everyone think?
Naomi ~ I guess it's good the pregnancy was a false alarm since Naomi pregnant would be pretty strange. It sucks that she and Max broke up still. I was pissed when I saw his reaction! I totally thought she and cowboy would be hooking up....
Adriana ~ My hatred for her is still there. I don't care how much she apologizes. Some things are unforgivable. I guess Naomi won't be getting with cowboy since she did.
Silver & Navid ~ I see his sister becoming a huge issue in their relationship. How can they take care of a girl is only one year younger than them as if they are the parents?
Teddy ~ Cannot believe he told his dad over the phone.
Liam & Annie ~ I am mad at her for not chasing after him after saying no to his proposal. (but omg how romantic) She could have still told him she wanted to be with him but not to get married right away. I also think he is going to be the "Dylan" of the show. He now owns what, the bar he was at? Crazy. Plus he is going to be an alcoholic and I wonder what happened to him that he won't talk about.
Dixon ~ Nothing much about him. I see him trying to do this DJ thing not working out as well as he may have hoped.
Re: 90210 9/13 *spoilers*
Agree with everything you had to say. I could be making this up but I feel like I read somewhere that Teddy wont be on the show for very much longer. I am bummed cause I like him.
I kinda thought it was an odd episode. I guess I would have liked seeing an episode one before this exploring what happened to them all over the summer.
OH hmmm I didn't know that about Teddy. I wonder if he will die in a plane crash. Where was he going anyway? I think I missed that.
Yea 90210 never shows the summer. That is why I like that Gossip GIrl shows a bit of the summer in the beginning episodes.

I agree with almost everything you said except for the part about Annie not running after Liam. She did. She told him she loved him but that she felt like this was out of nowhere and he needed to tell her what was going on. It was his choice to keep her in the dark and still walk away.
It's been pretty clear he's the "dylan" of the show for a long time
I think that 90210 has some of the worst season to season transitions of any show I've ever seen. Remember last season in the finale we see Annie's parents fighting and Annie walks in to tell them about the hit and run. And then Liam's boat was exploding and he was beating up Jasper. Then we get to the season opener and Annie's dad is just gone and she's been on house arrest and that whole story line is just dropped and no mention of Liam / Jasper. This season's was better but not by much.
Also, I thinkthe Navid sister thing is really dumb. A year ago, those two were basically on their own going to parties, and they still are even though they are only what 19 or 20? And yet now they are "parenting" this girl one year younger and are horrified that she wants to go out. Lol. If they wanted them to be "parents" the girl should have been 10.
Yea the Dylan thing has been pretty obvious but he never had the drinking issues and all that Dylan had. I think the old 90210 focused more on real issues instead of just stupid drama.
I think Annie could have said something more about loving him. She also told him before that , that she loved him but she didn't think that was everything. It made it sound like she wants to break up not be together.
my read shelf:
At first, real issues, then it was all about the stupid drama too!
I think her not thinking that was everything was her trying to say the relationship can't be one sided. He needs to explain why he was so disconnected from her all summer. He can't just come back and propose and that be that. I took it as "I love you, but, this isn't how a relationship works." Maybe that's just me though.
my read shelf:
Remember when 90210 started and it seemed like it was going to be super boring, then it got a little bit better, than sucked again, then got a little bit better? Well, I think this season may just rock- they've introduced a few new characters that I hope really bring on the drama! Love that cowboy- then again, I love all cowboys!
Re: Teddy- The son of one of my best friends once wrote her a note that said 'I might have to pay a big fine or even go to jail for a few days because of unpaid tickets- I go to court this afternoon. P.S. I'm gay.' That is the first thing I thought of when I saw Teddy leave his dad that message.
An American Girl's Travels
I was VERY relieved about Naomi not being pregnant. She is not mature at all! Silver and even Annie could actually handle that better than Naomi. Having money to care for a child would have been the only thing to save her.
The stuff with Navid's sister is so dumb! Really, they've been out of high school for a few months... there is no way I buy them as responsible "older" guardians. Plus, the sister is just annoying and it looked like she had a crooked wig on the entire episode.
Adriana.
That is all.
Overall, the episode didn't thrill me but I agree with the poster who mentioned how it started off bad and then got better.... I expect the same cycle!
Oh and Liam = Dylan.
Tortured and flawed but sooo cute and lovable.

I love the new boys. Hello, hot people.
I hate Adriana. I agree with pretty much everything else you said.

I think they should have just done away with Adriana.

Annie's new guy is hot-what is with Dixon and the cowboy being roommates? Are they both living in that apt?
Well they had to find a way to keep him in the picture to lead to Naomi's next love/hate relationship.

I hate to say this but I was glad Naomi got in trouble with the cops. It's not that I don't like her; I just like to see spoiled rich kids get bitten in the butt when they think they're above the law. I liked her and Max together though. I'm bummed that didn't work.
I never liked Annie from the beginning of the series. She's a drama queen and constantly flips out and it's so annoying. I'm glad Liam pretty much told her to get F'd after she turned him down. She said no in front of a zillion people and made him look like an ass....she can't have her cake and eat it too.
Dixon is just "there." Kinda boring IMO. Teddy telling his dad on a voice mail that he's gay = serious copout. Where's the "ooh" in that?? Navid's sister is a mouthy little brat. In real life I'd have thrown her ass out & let the aunt and uncle deal with her. Adrianna needs to go. And I"m bummed about Ivy's husband Raj being so sick. I like him.
I understand. She is a spoiled brat! I don't mind her getting in trouble either. Although I didn't like her with Max because I kept thinking, "Why would he really fall for someone so shallow and spoiled?"
