Resolution Check in

It has been a while. How is everyone doing with their lifesytle change?

Re: Resolution Check in

  • The Good

Vacation wasn't too spendy. We had some extra cash tucked away for spending money. We did most of the meals at the condo unless we were out that day. The kids could care less about souvieners so we bought them a cup at the zoo and called it good.

I re-directed one of our expenses towards our savings, so hopefully in a few months we give it some extra padding.

Clothes shopping for the girls wasn't too bad. i bought some stuff ahead of season last year. I just needed some items to fill in the holes.

We had a nice date night at Reds last week and used a gift card. We only had to pay $20 out of pocket.

    The Bad

This isn't bad, however Mia's b-day is in a month so that will be some added expenses. Luckily we already have her gifts. We just need to pay for the food at our family parties.

  • The good news is that law school has made working out a necessary part of my day.  Since classes went into full swing two weeks ago, I haven't missed a workout--it is now my favorite part of the day.

This morning I'm down three pounds from my weight on Monday.  I have also noticed my pants fitting a little more loosely.

  • Glad you remembered. trying to work up to 4 days a week at the gym and have been eating breakfast nearly daily. I told Ryan that we need to look over the budget and see where we can pull $30 a week from so we can starting getting Doorganics. I don't make it to the farmers market as much as I want.

  • I started tracking what I was eating.

Next week, I'll be able to start working out (more than just a lesiure walk or weeding the garden).  No lifting over 30 pounds for 3 more weeks.

And now that we're getting into a school schedule groove, it'll be full speed ahead starting Monday.
