Crossing guards who overstep their bounds. They're supposed to help humans cross the street. If we're splitting hairs, they're supposed to help kids, but I'll give 'em adults too. But yesterday I was trying to get to court and came to an intersection with a green light. The crossing guard sauntered across in front of my car just as I approached, stopping me from getting the green light, because a car was pulling out of a driveway of a house on the other side of the intersection. WTF? Not your job, lady.
Litigants who don't do what they're told then pretend they tried. I have a divorce case where my client's STBXH is treating the kids like crap and was ordered into an 8-week parenting class. In the beginning of August. A full month later I wrote to his lawyer asking for proof that he was enrolled in a class. A week after that, I got a letter from his lawyer telling me that he'd been "trying to find a class that was free or would work with his insurance." Bullsh!t. It took me one 9-minute call to the Family Assessment unit at the courthouse for them to fax me a list of 3 organizations that do these classes. Two are free.
People who just must go faster when you're trying to change lanes to "beat" you and not let you in... and then slow down in front of you and go slower than you would've gone, so you wouldn't have hindered their progress at all.
You?
Re: I'm annoyed by...
clients who call me multiple times in an hour or two or three and before i can call them back. i have one that alternates between work cell and office... literally called me three times in 2 hours, and all for no urgent reason!
clients who want me to handle problems/issues that i am not getting paid to do
not having a secretary to screen people/calls, and being so damn accessible. i had one of my crazier clients show up out of the blue and walk right into my office the other day!
being 5 lbs overweight
there's more but that's all i can think of right now. this is fun!
Oooooooooh, yeah. My firm has a "we take walk-ins" policy, with current clients or potential clients. Freakin' annoying.
And yeah, I get a lot of the freebie-wanna-bes too. I want to slap them. Would they give me "free samples" of their work too?

Dang, I should have read this first before my post. See my post - sorry!

People that don't teach and are too busy calling me to figure sh*t out for them because they have one of my students.
Parents who were adult enough to spread their legs but not adult to be a parent.
If it were Friday, I'd get drunk tonight and I don't drink that to extent usually.

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
All this up-in-the-air stuff about deployment. H got orders to deploy earlier this week - he leaves early next year. But now, I'm not sure when he's going, how training's going to go etc., which is making it impossible to plan for holidays so either he can come home or I can go there. Sucks.
My contacts. I desperately need new ones.
My lack of energy at night. Once I get home and get dinner made, my energy just plummets. I need to figure out why.
Ebonie, from what E tells me, that's just the way the AF is. I don't know how you do it. I'd be insane.
Ash, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time.
And Marcy, I constantly overextend myself too, ever since I was a kid. Why do we do that?
