Big Brother - finale spoilers

I absolutely HATE the portion of the final HOH when they guess what the other housemates said.  How is that any type of skill?  It's JUST GUESSING, it's stupid!

  • I was thinking about that too and thought maybe it was supposed to signify the social aspect of the game?  Like that they listened and got to know the other housemates and therefore would be able to use that insight to determine the answer.  I'm not saying that it isn't a stupid comp, I'm just guessing that's what they are trying to accomplish with that.

I believe this is correct. I would like if the final competition were memory based though.

I am so happy Rachel won! She was a target every week the entire season and definitely played her butt off.

  • As much as you love to hate her, Rachel totally deserved to win that game!  I'm very surprised that Jeff won the America's player $$... didn't see that one coming!

  • How could anyone in good conscience vote for Porsche?  She did nothing all season but cook and sleep.  Adam....really?  You are so delusional!  No one respected your game play!!  You are an idiot!  I cannot believe you voted for Porsche too...sour grapes are not cute on you.

I am so glad Rachel won...she earned that victory by working her asss off all summer. I admit I have never been a fan, but girlfriend has a fierce competitiveness and she deserved it.   I hope she does not blow it on a pretty princess day.

That said....what am I going to do every evening>>>>  gah!

  • So, I know Rachel wasn't exactly nice all summer.  But I can't figure out why Danielle and Kalia seem to think she was so terrible??  I haven't watched the feeds but I have been reading the blogs and stuff most of the summer so I feel like I'm either missing something or they are completely delusional.

I did read that Rachel called Kalia a cow in her goodbye message (which I think is kind lol) and I know Rachel was kind of awful to Shelly's partner (the one that was evicted second).  But from everything I've read it was actually Kalia and Porsche who were the ones that were so mean. It was Porsche that was putting *** in Jordan's (maybe everyone's) drinks and stole a bunch of people's stuff.  And I think I'd read that Kalia had said / done some pretty awful stuff as well.  It was either K or P that said a few weeks ago when Rachel thought she could be pregnant that they'd just hit her in the stomach with a medicine ball and save Brendon $400.  I can't think of a single thing that R did that compares to that.

Also, I don't get Danielle's comment.  "Porsche I love you, Rachel you're lucky this isn't a personality comment."  That made me think that she voted for Rachel even though she didn't like her.  I don't get the comment when she voted for Porsche.  WTF is she lucky if you didn't vote for her?  Aside from maybe Shelly, the people that voted for Rachel actually seemed to like her and dislike Danielle.

Finally, I don't get Adam's decision to vote Porsche.  I'll be very curious to see his interviews and explanations for that.

Because many agreed that she didn't have a winning personality but played a great game and therefore deserved to win. Danielle knew that Rachel had the votes.

Really? Rachel evicted Adam. If she had kept him, he would have at least gotten $50k. Pretty sure that's why he voted for Porsche.

  • I am so so happy Rachel won! She really changed her attitude after Brenden left and won America over. She fought the whole time and really had to save herself over and over. If anyone can play the game with a target on her back like her and make it to final 2, there is no reason why she shouldn't have received every vote!

Porsche did nothing to deserve the money. Sure she won competitions, but it wasn't till like 5 people were left! That doesn't exactly make you a strong competitor. That just means you had less people to go against. Her speeches were painful because she couldn't come up with anything to prove her point.

Danielle and Kalia are bad sports. Danielle had a sour face all night.. Get over it.

Adam shocked me!! He talked all season about Rachel being a really strong competitor and how hard she fought. Always saying she deserved to be there and has proved herself. Then he give Porsche his vote!! I know he is sour about Rachel voting him out, but come on.... Adam owes some of being in the final 3 to Rachel. Maybe his emotions were still too high from being evicted, but that just proved again why he should not have been in the final 2!!

  • I'm not sure that Rachel evicting him had anything to do with Adam voting for Porsche. At the beginning of Porsche's final speech she said, "Adam we've already talked in length about this, so I will address the others." This made me think she worked some sort of agreement out with him/had convinced him to vote for her.

Adam really doesn't seem like the type to not vote for Rachel just because she voted him out, because he loves the game and understands that's just how it is.

Danielle needs to get over shiit. I can see now why her and Diick have such an awful relationship. She can't let anything go!

I don't know if you watch the live feeds or not, but I read a blog that covers what happens. Early in the week Adam came up with this master plan to get the girls to keep him, which involved telling them if they didn't keep him, they weren't getting his vote (he knew he would probably be the deciding vote). I'm not sure if ever expressed that plan to Rachel, but I know he threaten Porsche with it. Adam knew they weren't going to take him so it was a last effort on his part. He told Porsche that if she voted him out, he wouldn't vote for her. And if she keep him, he would tell the jury to give her the half million and he would take the $50,000.

Now who knows if that is why he didn't vote for Rachel or not, but that was part of his plan earlier in the week. But then again, I have no idea what Porsche was referencing so you could be totally right. Wish we could hear what he was thinking!

  • I haven't listened (or read?) the entire thing but it looks like here Adam said that he saw Shelly's vote and knew that Rachel was going to win so he just threw a vote to Porsche.  Seems like a lame reason to vote but whatever.

  • I don't really like that Rachel won, because I agree that she has an awful personality.  She is a strong competitor and she had good arguments for why she should win, so I do think that she deserved to win over Porsche.  I think it is really telling how much her personality seemed to change with Brendan gone though.  She wasn't nearly as annoying or self-absorbed as she was with him in the house.  Could be the editing, but she seemed to be more pleasant.

Another thing that really bothered me was Jordan saying that Porsche did absolutely nothing in the house.  I believe that Porsche won a few competitions and came close to winning others.  What did Jordan do?  She won one hoh that was pretty much thrown her way, once the guys knew their side would win.  She was horrible in competitions, and the only reason she got so far was because people didn't feel threatened by her and she was nice.  It was really a pot calling the kettle black moment in the show.

This! I agree, I love Jordan but she did nothing in that house. Porsche couldn't even compete in anything in the beginning because she had the golden key. Then when she could compete, she came close to winning or won. The best thing she did was sit back and let everyone else fight and not being in the middle of everything. I think the best move Porsche made was when she switched from her allience with Rachel to Dani and them. Honestly Rachel would have stabbed her in the back the first chance she got!

I know I'm late to the party, but I still think Jordan was a better "player" than Porsche. She didn't put laxatives in the have-nots milk, in order to help her win competitions like Porsche did. Porsche did not deserve to make the final two, IMHO. (I believe the same for Jordan as well, but I think she was more deserving than Porsche.)
