Weather in Belgium
Hi!
I think we have some Belgian nesties, or lots of people have been to Belgium here. I've been, but it was a long time ago.
DH and I are thinking of doing a bike trip towards end of October, but I'm wondering how cold will it be? We want to bike from Brussels to Bruges or Ostend. I don't want it to be cold and rainy the whole time- that would be miserable.

I'm sorry to say it's very likely to be cold and rainy the whole time in late October. We do get some nice (though cool) days but wet is usually where it's at...
Hi! I am a Belgian nestie. It will definitely be cold and rainy in October. If not rainy, then definitely cold. They have a saying in Belgium..."If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes..."
Definitely long pants, and a gortex raincoat!

Thanks everyone! We're trying to get tickets to a concert, which I'm sure we'll get. If the weather is nice we'll bike. If not maybe a short weekend or we'll take the train journey.
We did biking in the Netherlands for Easter and the weather was fantastic! That was so strange to have weather so nice, maybe we'll luck out and have it happen twice! Either way we have a back-up plan.
