As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I have a friend that uses them for EVERYTHING. Planning a birthday party 3 months from now? Facebook invite. Brunch at The Grape in a few weeks? Facebook invite. Other random GTG? Facebook invite.
It gets annoying.
I have done them for casual gatherings. Halloween party, DH's bday, pampered chef-esque parties.
An acquaintance of mine got married this past weekend. The couple is from here, but lives out of state. Their wedding was here, but they had events (showers, parties, etc) in both states. I must have got 5-6 fb invites to all of their events....and we're not even close. So they were clearly sending to their entire friends list, which I found tacky and kinda rude to the hosts of all their shindigs.
