Restaurant/Lounge/Bar Recs

Hi Everyone!  I'm a Baltimore Nestie, looking to see if anyone had some recommendations for me.

I am meeting a client for after dinner drinks next week, following another client dinner at Hudson Restaurant (2030 M St.).  Does anyone have any suggestions regarding where I should suggest I meet my client following dinner for drinks?  I'm not at all familiar with DC.

I look forward to any feedback.  Thanks!

Re: Restaurant/Lounge/Bar Recs

  • What kind of scene are you looking for?

Most of the places I'm familiar with around there are more for the college/partying crowd. There are a number of nice restaurants nearby, Vermillion, M Street Bar & Grill. I've heard the Science Club is a fun bar to go to.

The Washington Post has a great going out guide that might help you as well.

Definitely want to avoid the college/partying crowd.  This is a long time client that I'm just looking to touch base with/catch up with.  I'll take a look at the places listed through your link.  Thanks for the information!
