I love my husband

I mentioned to him that we may want to start considering adding some cereal to the baby's bottle before bed time. Here was his response, gotta love 1st time parents.

What kind? Mini wheats isn?t going to work. Do you think adding a little extra formula would do the same thing? That?s probably less cost effective though.

  • Speaking of cereal, I almost spit out my oatmeal when I read that.  Too funny Big Smile

No, we haven't discussed it yet. We go on Monday and I was going to open the dialogue about it then.

Her childcare provider (my bff) mentioned that her spitting up and behavior is extremely similar to reflux. So I need to mention that to the doctor as well. She's going through 3 outfits a day.

We added cereal to Robert's bottle for a while.  It definitely helped improvement with spitting up, but it was only temporary for us.  We finally had to switch him to Alimentum.  I really hope the cereal helps for Piper!!

She gets 90% breast milk currently. She only gets formula during the middle of the night bottle and in situations where I'm just SOL and don't have anywhere to pump or didn't pack breast milk. So it's not just a formula brand issue. She has no other symptoms of a food allergy though and is definitely growing.

Margot was still growing perfectly, even with her food sensitivities. I hope that's not it though, but I probably wouldn't discount it completely. You could try avoiding dairy products for a couple weeks to see if it helps. If not, then you would know pretty certainly.

What Greg said is hilarious too, by the way! Love it!
