Jury Duty (MoCo)?

When you're on jury duty, when do they let you go home?  5pm?

DH has it today and doesn't have to go into work after, so I was thinking I could surprise him with an impromptu happy hour/romantic dinner.

Re: Jury Duty (MoCo)?

  • I think it totally depends on the case and if he get's picked to actually sit on the jury.

I was called up for jury duty in MoCo a couple years ago and I think I was out by around 1 or 2... but I wasn't actually picked to sit on a jury.

See, i'm also confused because he doesn't have to be there until 2.

  • It totally depends on whether he's picked for a jury. My husband sat on a jury last time he was called, and they weren't able to finish by 5 pm. The judge gave them the option of staying late or coming back the next day. They all voted to stay late, and I think they got out of there around 6.
