I'm trying to do two a days until I leave Turkmenistan, so I am definitely feeling more tired these days, although it's not as bad as I would have expected. Work is a bit on the quiet side, which is how I like it since I can't really concentrate on much besides the wedding and next week is our last week at work before leaving. There has also been some talk with the boss about our next move and so I'm prematurely fantasizing about that. Ahhh!!! I feel like I have a problem living in the present and am always looking to the future.
QOTD: I have curly hair, so I just scrunch some gel in and leave it down and let it air dry. By the end of the day it's up in a ponytail.

This week has flown by! I can't believe that it's Thursday already! I had my fitness class today, my Mum and Grandma looked after E while I was there, it was so nice!

I'm getting ready to go to bed since I have another 4 AM start in the morning. ugh.
Our dishwasher died, and since we are re-doing the kitchen anyway, we went to look at new ones tonight. It's sad that i got ridiculously excited over some of the features available these days.
How important is it for the appliance brands to match? While I can justify the Smeg dishwasher $$, I am having a really hard time justifying the Smeg ovens/stoves $$$$$$$.
QOTD: I have curly, shoulder blade length hair, so when I'm not working it's scrunched with some gel. When I'm working, it's up in a ponytail.

My day has been pretty busy. I have a presentation that I have been trying to get together for work and it is taking far longer to do than I ever expected.
QOTD: My hair is naturally pretty straight, so I have been letting it air dry straight. I meant to buy a hair dryer when we got to India, but I haven't gotten around to it. I usually end up with my hair either in a ponytail or twisted up in a knot by the end of the day anyway, so I guess drying it really doesn't matter all that much.

I wouldn't have even thought to get matching brands as long as they were all the same color/style. We have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, an LG refrigerator, and some other kind of stove in our Indiana house.

Holy cow, Jetur, I can't believe how close your wedding is now!
Not much going on for me today. DH had a conference by my office, so it was nice to come into work with him this morning and catch up with a mid-morning coffee. I have a ton of stuff to do at work, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated. I really need to buckle down.
QOTD: I have pretty straight reddish hair, just below my shoulders. I'm jealous of those that can just air dry their hair, but my hair gets awkwardly kinky if I do that. So I blow dry it all the time. I have weird fly-aways and awkward bangs, so I don't generally like it when I style it up, so 99.5% of the time I leave it down unless I'm doing something active.

Since I am one of the top 3 most impatient people on earth, it still feels like forever. I look at calendars and see how close it is getting (our civil ceremony is actually Sept. 30, so only 15 days for that) and I'm still like HURRY UP!
Morning! Got to sleep in a bit today. Hangin' with the puppy now with breakfast before work. Very happy that it's the end of the week, even though I don't have weekends, it's just nice to get closer to Friday when I have to do week-end reports. Somehow I always feel a little bit closer to something better.
QOTD: I have super-fine (aka boring) blonde hair. Longest it's been since I was a child...just past my shoulders. I've tried to curl it or do something fun with it, but it never holds without a can of hairspray, and I'm not all about that, so I usually just wear it in a ponytail.

This week has been going by pretty fast for me too. I am excited about the weekend, even though nothing much is really happening. An army friend is taking DH and I to the commissary and I am excited to get my American products. I love being able to pick up Saline and Contact Solution for $2.99 instead of the 11 EUR they charge per bottle at the Belgian pharmacies! I wish I had access to this place on my own, but then I would go all the time - it's like visiting Target
Saturday we help some friends move into their first apt together! It's cute to see new couples take big steps!
QOTD: I have long brown hair (a little longer than shoulder blade). I usually shower at night and let it air dry, which it does a little kinky/wavy in the front - then I just brush it and wear it down. It's usually down, parted to one side, and tucked behind my ears. If I cannot stand it anymore, I usually put it half up into one braid. Though I just recently realized this is really not my BEST look ;-) haha

Yesterday, I had to chair a conference and I walked up to a group of men during the networking break. This guy was just about to make a new point, and drops in, "We're all intelligent here." Then he looks at me and says, "Well, she's pretty, but we don't know if she's smart yet". I was flabbergasted! Another guy defended me and said, "She is chairing the whole conference, so presumably she knows what's going on!"
I said, "Basically, your enlightened view is that you can be pretty OR smart?" Everyone laughed and moved on with the conversation. The nerve!
Anyway, today is pretty standard. I have a meeting from 5:30-6:30, which stinks because I was looking forward to going home and cleaning. I have a friend coming from out of town tomorrow and the place is a mess!
QOTD: I have dark, culy hair that almost reaches my bra strap. I usuallt just put some curl cream in it and wear it down.

Work has been very busy, plus I have been at the gym nearly every night. I have to work tomorrow night and Sunday all day. Busy, busy.
QOTD: My hair is past my shoulders and I wear it up, down, half and half. It is auburn and fairly thick.
This week has been kinda icky. My daughter has been sick so I was home with her the past couple of days. Work has been extremely slow because my position is fairly new, and nobody knows what they want me to do with my files yet. It's getting frustrating, but gives me lots of time for message boards
QOTD: Right now I have really long strawberry blond-ish hair. I prefer to have it down and straightened, but it has some wave so I sometimes leave it down and scrunched with mousse. Today was a "I hit the snooze way too many times" kind of day so it's back in a tight bun. I have a hair appointment after work so we'll see what kind of changes happen. I change either the length or colour at every appointment, so it's never the same.

Went for lunch with H today at one of his client's restaurants. Then rushed back to pick M up from school. Tonight going to SIL's for dinner, H has a work event, but I didn't feel like getting dressed up to go with him.
QOTD: Up until Tuesday it was down past my bra strap and blond. I just had it cut to my shoulders and had copper highlights (maybe lowlights?) put in. My hair is super straight and I just let it air dry most of the time, it looks the same either way.
Afternoon ladies!! Not a lot going on here...I just finished up work for the day, so I'm lounging and getting ready to watch NCIS (my lord, I love that show).
QOTD: I have thick, dark brown hair that has very minimal wave in it and is mostly straight. It's just past my shoulders, but I'm trying to grow it out. Honestly, 9 times out of 10, it's in a bun.
Scratch that, now it seems I have food poisoning. First time in my life!
