I restarted Weight Watchers this week. I'm looking to lose 20 pounds (to start). I'm tired of being overweight and hating how I look. And I want to lose weight and be a better runner (less pain, more energy, etc).
I don't normally tell people when I'm trying to lose weight, but maybe this time the accountability of others knowing will help me. So far, this week has been alright. I didn't realize just how much I was eating until I really tracked it. The first few days were a huge adjustment, but I'm feeling better now.
So, wish me luck! I'll still be baking for the blog, but the difference is that I will eat maybe one of whatever I make, and then get the rest of it out of the house. I think it's a good compromise.
Re: Putting it out there
I started weight watchers on Aug 5th and I'm down 13lbs.
You can do it!
You can do it! I'll be honest, when I saw your picture from the marathon on FB - I was kind of happy to see you weren't stick thin because I thought to myself if she can run a half marathon SO CAN I! With that being said, I totally get ya!
I'm down 22 pounds and I need to get back to my c25k. I think it's time to move on to the 10k though.
YOU CAN DO IT - YOU WILL DO IT! GOOD LUCK!!!

two friends have started weight watchers just over a year ago
-- Gretchen is down 73 pounds ( she also does yoga 2-3 times a week )
-- Brandie is down 120 pounds ( she started doing Zumba and is now a certified trainer ! )
I don't know if this is a motivater but Brandie actually posted her weight loss on FB - there was a minimum of 10 " likes " or comments each time, even if it was only 3 pounds.
