Re: wwyd??

  • I would ask for them to have an exterminator come out to clean it out along with making sure there aren't anymore around.  Have they been there for a while?

  • What kind of rodents and how many?  Mice? Squirrels? Raccoons? Elephants?  I would just ask an exterminator come assess the situation (make sure there aren't any nests) and make sure they aren't in the attic or house.  I think the crawl space probably needs to breathe but ask that the sellers or exterminators figure out how they got in and block it?   I don't really think it's a huge deal as long as there isn't a larger population of them hidden somewhere.

    Tritto.

  • Mice or Rats...Well as far as the inspector could tell when he was under there and from the seller... there were some "wild" cats that got under there and would drag the mice in there with them.  The cats had also gotten to some of the duct work, but it had been fixed.  DH is fine with the whole thing and says he will clean them out himself and fix the hole where the cats got in under the skirting... I on the other hand freak out about everything.

Yep...nothing worse than an elephant problem :)  Those buggers are a PAIN to get rid of!

We had a dead squirrel in our attic.  Found and patched the hole.  Not a big deal since it wasn't an infestation of critters.
