I saw in your blog that you're working on weaning Nora. We are also down to morning and night sessions, and I'm okay with weaning him at this point. I don't think he's getting much anymore and my OB wants him weaned in the next month anyway. Are you just cutting one session at a time? Cold turkey or what? Now that we're down to two, I'm not sure how to proceed from here.
Re: **Heatherkj*
I asked about it at the pedi appointment, and she suggested first dropping the one that I thought she would miss the least. I thought that was the morning one, so we pretty much went cold turkey with it. Honestly, it has been harder than I thought. Even with a full breakfast, she is still seemingly wanting to nurse in the mornings. I have been doing the "distraction" thing where I just distract her with something different. We're on Day 3 without it and I think she is getting better with it?
I think nighttime will be harder--with that, I plan to do it a little more gradually, slowly dropping the amount of time I allow her to nurse before I stop completely.
