  • OK Morrigan I do a lot of that too so I guess those are the 'big hits".  Unfortunately she won't eat chicken nuggets, peanut butter, grilled chicken, mac n cheese or tortellini.  I think I have to just try some again.  I made mac n cheese this week - she used to eat it with turkey hotdog and peas in it.  This week I made it with ground beef and.........negative.  This is my karma.  I am the world's pickiest eater so I knew it was bound to happen :(  Thankfully she still happily eats her veggies!
  • I am so glad Elle's daycare provides all her food, she is way less picky there and gets a different thing every day. I am not sure I could do it on my own.

I know!  It's a big trad-off of a small place where she is vs. a larger center where they do food.

If I was at my companies HQ in CA and sent her to daycare there, they have crazy food.  Like the food they make us (organic, local, etc).  That would be awesome, she'd eat way better than I could make her.

  • Charlie really likes the Quorn brand mini corn dogs.  They are vegetarian and in the freezer section.  He usually gets those once a week.

Other things he gets as his main dish: Mini Bagel Pizza (made on bagel thins), Meatballs, Grilled Chicken, Salmon sticks (we get them frozen at whole foods), cheesy rice with chicken.

  • I don't have anything new to add that the other ladies already haven't, but wanted to let you know that we're in the same boat as far as pickiness goes.  For a while it seems as if the girls eats the same few things every day for lunch & dinner.  It does recently seem to be getting a little bit better lately though, she's picked up a few more foods finally.
  • Leftovers are the best and easiest to send.  I try to make a baked ziti, lasagna, stir-fry, etc.  I will also make mac-n-cheese and mix in broccoli and cauliflower.  I send sandwiches, yogurt, chips n dip, egg salad, chicken nuggets, waffles, pancakes, etc.  I also always send a string cheese and then fruit and/or veggie.  There isn't too much variety, but she always eats.  Oh yeah she also loves when I send pizza!  Sometimes I'll put in a little treat like potato chips, pudding, or jell-o.
