What is online, is it worth it, and what does it do...I'm trying to decide if I should give it a shot.

Re: Weight Watcher People
Jax - I can give you my online information if you want to check it out. I'm actually about to cancel because I don't use it but when I did - I loved it.
Online - you can track your weight etc as well as your daily points. There are app's on the iphone and droid for the point calculator as well. Online is good if you are good at getting online to track your stuff. I found I was better at paper and pencil than online.

I do online. I detest meetings of all kinds. I really like the program.
It's a little more work than just tracking your calories -- the points system is based on fat, protein, fiber and carbs. It takes a little getting used to, but if you had a smart phone app, it would probably be a lot easier (I'm not fancy enough for that). And, the online tools have points values for a lot of common restaurants (like Subway, other fast foods, sit-down restaurants, etc).
I'm sort of obsessive about tracking things and making lists and checking boxes, so this works well for me. And the other bonus, there are no forbidden foods. You simply have to learn how to incorporate your favorite foods into a healthy lifestyle.
When I've done WW in the past I always did better with the traditional meetings over the online. But I keep considering going back.
My biggest issue is I usually eat once a day and it's late at night, if I eat lunch it's usually only something small, and I never eat breakfast unless you count my daily cup of Dunkin as breakfast. So I need something to get me to eat like 5 little things a day and I think that would help me a lot.
I've quit most of my baking, well yesterday was an exception, but I brought all those cupcakes to work so everyone else ate them. I did have one to make sure they were edible since they didn't turn out the way they were planned. But other than that I don't buy junk food so for me it's really just portion control
Ash if you're willing to share, I would love to check out the new WW online just to see what it looks like, maybe if they've changed it a lot I might do it again.
