How often do you drink alcohol?

I am having a day that requires one of these Beer or these Drinks , but I feel like a lush when I drink on a weeknight (Sun-Thurs)....

So I'm hoping my saucy Seattle Nesties are also weeknight drinkers, and make me feel better Embarrassed

I said 3-4 times a week.....but usually that's only like a glass of wine.

However, I see nothing wrong with having drink on weeknight after a significantly bad/draining day.

I said 5-6 nights a week. Lately it's been 7 - call us lushes.

We usually have wine with dinner. We tend to consume more on the weekends but we have been known to polish off a bottle+ on a work night.

That being said we don't usually have commitments or responsibilities after work such as gatherings, kids, church or anything.

I think that right there might be key to weeknight drinking. I forget that not everyone posting isn't in the DINK category.

Lately I've been drinking on Sundays while I watch True Blood, and now Football. And Fridays and Saturdays, now also Football related.

And now I discovered another reason to drink tonight..... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is having it's season premiere! I'm hoping to make a drinking game out of this (1 or 2 beers worth).

I feel like there needs to be an option between "never" and "only Fri/Sat". I just don't drink that much in general, so I don't drink every Fri/Sat (which is how I interpreted that option because the next option goes up from there), but it isn't never.

I think that would qualify as being as pure as the driven snow, since snow that has been driven in isn't that pure. Wink

I said SS, I don't drink often, maybe once a week (or every 2 weeks or 3?), but there is no rule about Fri/Sat/Sun, it's whatever day I want/need it. I used to drink a lot more, I mostly cut back to save the calories and I mostly avoid it now to limit the calories.

I did SS: It basically depends on my week and how it's going. I'm not against a glass of wine on a Tuesday if it's been a Tuesday from hell. LOL

Don't feel bad! Drink if you need a drink.

I like drinking. I don't think it's all that bad and sometimes, I drink a glass of wine every few nights, without a meal, just because.

I had a glass of wine last night! And the night before. I'm thinking of having one right now.

Maybe I am a lush. :P

We usually have drinks fri or sat; football season changes that to sundays and I usually find myself at Happy Hour once a week with friends or coworkers. So, its usually 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I counteract that with my healthy 2 nights at week at yoga! he he!

oops. i should've picked this....but i chose SS. i say it's once or twice a week (when not KTFU), not necessarily on fri/sat, but also not every week.

I'm the same. I don't drink on a weeknight. When I do drink (which isn't every week) it's on Friday or Saturday night.

Before I was pregnant I would usually have a drink 2-3 times a month on either Friday or Saturday nights.

I voted SS. It really just depends on what's going on and what I feel like. I can easily go a couple weeks without ever having a drink, but then there are other weeks where I'll have a drink or two almost every night. I definitely don't see a problem with having a glass or two of wine or a beer or two with dinner, even on a week night. I do typically avoid having more than just a drink or two during the week; that's normally on Saturday if I'm going to do it.
