I'm surviving my first Full week back to school. I have a really sweet bunch of little Kindergarten germs. They are adorable! My first and second graders may cause me to drink... heavily...![]()

But my fifth graders are awesome!!! They are amazing musicians, we will have a blast!
Yesterday one of my college freshmen came up to me during our break and informed me that I was her second grade music teacher, and then I felt old... (I think I need another drink...
)
Other than that, life is great. We spent the weekend in Maine, and this weekend is the South End Open Studios and an opening at my favorite ceramics gallery. I'm looking forward to wine tasting at Brix, gallery opening and dinner in the South End tomorrow.
I had to laugh when I popped onto the Boston Board tonight and the first post I saw read "speaking of sperm donors..." Really??? That's what you ladies have been talking about since I've been gone... Then I saw the picture of the sneakers...
I don't think those would be school appropriate.
Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend!
Re: How is everyone?
Gingerrrrrrrr! I've missed you! I went to Sofra a couple of weekends ago and thought of you (and 5000Candles since she lives nearby). I was a little sad that I didn't love it, but I'd give it another shot.
Any chance you'd want to join us for the Dedham GTG?
When is the Dedham GTG? I would love to meet some nesties.
I have never been to the actual bakery, but those earthquake cookies were yummy!
It's going to be on Sat. 10/8 at Legacy Place in Dedham (to make up for the one we tried to put together there several months ago but everyone bailed on poor LadyE).
If you're interested, PM me your email and I'll send you the eVite with all the details.
Sounds like you're having a good school year! Lots of drinking involved, which is how my year is too
haha
Ginger, come to the GTG, it will be fun!
I could not figure out what the heck "speaking of sperm" was a SO off, but I am at headquarters and have no time to nest so I am glad to be pointed in the right direction. LOL
I can't believe it when I see the babies whose diapers I changed and who I helped potty train and sang their ABCs with are starting college this fall.
I wish we could have GTG while you were here.
the post title made me giggle... ; )
