Kristi and I are driving to Jersey and taking the ferry over to the city. There are 3 different drop off points we can choose from....so those of you that know the city, which one is closest to where we want to be?
Midtown/ W 39th St
Pier 11/Wall St
World Financial Center
Also....to those who want to meet up earlier for a pre-brunch munchie....where/when? We should be in the city around 10:30 or so. Is there anywhere around that we can sit an have a bagel or doughnut and chat?

Re: NYC Girls...a question
Well world financial center is at the TIP of NYC so I wouldn't do that one and Pier 11 is on the East Side of the city so I think the midtown 39th street is your best bet. Its about 15 blocks north of where you want to be but for me thats not a bad walk. You can do a slow mosey down town. I'd walk near the water or cross to one of the more inner aves like 9th/8th/7th they are a little nicer to look at!
If you walk along the water there are a couple of nice park areas near the chelsea peers in the lower 20's right on the water. Not really much food there though. Most of the nicer parks are more into the center of the city.
