After looking for shoes yesterday, I started thinking about boots.
And then it was all nice and chilly this morning.
And then I started thinking about fall clothes.
And now I'm sitting here with three shopping baskets open, just tempting me to hit "OK".
I want sweaters and skinny jeans and new boots dammit. And I blame you.
Anybody else hit with the shopping bug?

This!! I need new clothes, but I don't know what to buy! And as usual, I'm reluctant to buy clothes in my current size because I hope I won't be this size for very long. I put off buying clothes for this reason all the time and it's stupid.

I'm only just now coming around to boots outside skinny jeans - which is probably "over" by now. But I really really want to get these:
to wear with some jeggings (ummmm...which I also don't own) and sweaters.
Pretty sure that's at least 3 years behind trend, but I don't give a shits. It's what I want.
ETA: GOODAMNIT. why is the nest disorting pictures on me? they look fine until I hit post and then they go all wonky.

Boots over skinny jeans better not be over yet. I just started doing that last winter and I love my slouchy flat boots.
I wonder if eventually the pendulum will swing back to the super-flared jeans and boots with squared, chunky soles.

I can't wear skinny jeans, its really for everyone's benefit.
I may make a litle trip to Old Navy this weekend and see if I can find some cute stuff. I really need some new casual stuff. And, ON has some INSANELY cute adn cheap kids stuff too.
I am really pear-shaped and always assumed i could never wear skinny jeans but I can with boots and a longer top. If I wear them with flats though it is not a good look. I think that only looks good on very straight, slender figures.
same here. I finally broke and tried on a pair recently and they look good as long as they're balanced out with a longer top and some fairly visually chunky shoes.

Ok...it's official. I just order a bunch of stuff online. And when i say a bunch...I mean it. a pair of boots from zappos, two pants, 2 sweaters, a belt, and an assortment of cute sale tanks from ON.
I'm gonna have to return at least 90% of this stuff. SO not in the budget.

ME! I will be the first one to admit I am totally fashion challenged. I needed new stuff LAST fall, but since I was pregnant, I didn't buy anything that wasn't maternity. Now with a baby, I really don't want to spend a ton. Please don't hate me, but I did manage to lose all of my baby weight.
I desperately need new work pants and shoes - for work and casual. I also would like some more tops.
FWIW, I heard that boot leg/wide leg jeans are coming back.
Yup, this is exactly me and now I love the look.
I want to go on a shopping spree SO BAD but we have no extra money right now. It's taking so much discipline.
