How is everyone's day looking? Any plans for the weekend?
I have nothing planned for today or the weekend other than opening a bottle of apple cider wine tonight because it's so fall-like outside.

Re: Happy Friday Folks!
Good Morning!
Today I work and then tonight we are just going to hang out at home. I think I might go to Target after work and get a present for C since she is being so brave tonight and going for tests to find out why she is having seizures. Tomorrow we are just playing catch up on housework and E has some homework to do. And then I think we might go do something fun. Its weird getting used to not having E here as much because of school, so we are trying to make sure we make extra time for us.
I spent a lot of time in the hospital as a kid and activities like sticker books were the best. I did have a snuggly Gund toy that a cousin got me, but things like stickers, cardboard tree assemblies, etc, were my favorite and they really helped pass the time that I was hanging out waiting on doctors and nurses.
We're finally painting our guest room and then helping a friend rebuild his house.
I'm in extreme retail therapy mode and I really need to cool it.
Oh good idea on the activity books! She loves coloring and stuff like that.
I've been this way lately too. It needs to stop quickly.
That was me last weekend! I spent way too much money on new clothes and shoes last weekend!
Today I'm hoping to leave work early so I can go home and mow my lawn, then pressure wash my fence in preparation for the staining I'm going to do on it tomorrow. Then tomorrow I'm going to stain the fence. If that doesn't take all day, I'm going to clean out our freezers, vacuum, mop floors and possibly start cleaning out the garage. Sunday I want to take B to see Lion King and then I'll probably do whatever I didn't get done yesterday.

After a week filled with doctors appts, a trip to L&D and a crazy trip to the commissary yesterday (is that case lot sale everywhere or just here?)...today is a day where I'll be catching up on stuff at home. Mostly boring stuff like laundry, but I need to start tackling the things on my to-do list before LO gets here.
No real plans for the weekend. Should be pretty relaxed. I'm a little jealous of your fall weather. I totally miss those crisp New England fall days where you can feel the change that is about to happen in the air. Favorite part of the year back home!

~All AL'ers welcome~
Good morning. I have to actually shower and leave the house for work today which I'm not a fan of. We have a guy coming in from our corporate office, so I actually have to change out of pajamas.
H just left again so I have a pretty lazy weekend ahead. We have our commissary case lot sale going on so I'll probably go do some shopping, and Sunday I plan to park it on the couch with Statracker going all day.
I'm mailing out J's Halloween box today & a "you're coming back to America" box to a friend of ours who will be home before J. Then I get the joy of going to the license bureau to renew plates on the motorcycle and file for a lost title for the car.
I woke up at 5:30 this morning thinking it was Saturday and I needed to find a way to get DS and I to and from the mechanic shop [my A/C pretty much needs to be entirely replaced, but I'm not going to wait around four hours for that process to happen]. Realized at 7:15 that it is, in fact, Friday and that I needed to get myself ready for work.
So, needless to say, I've been off all day. I just need to make it through work, then DS and I are headed to Panera for dinner [yum, lemon chicken orzo soup]. Besides getting my car fixed tomorrow and watching football, nothing much is planned this weekend.
Nothing planned for the weekend - and I'm kind of liking it. DH has drill and interviews starting tomorrow so it's just DD and me. Hopefully my parents won't try to monopolize my weekend. I just don't have the energy to deal with them at the moment and I don't feel like having to deprogram DD after her weekly Friday night sleepover to take longer than usual.
Actually need to go through DD's clothes and get rid of what doesn't fit and start storing the summer clothes that currently still do and then start going through her winter clothing that is currently stored away. She's been basically the same size for 3 years so I'm very much looking forward to finally being able to get rid of quite a bit. Her closet and dresser are overflowing.
Sunday's big plan is to watch the Redskins game and enjoy some chili. Nom nom
Nothing really planned here for me either. Just hanging out at home, cleaning and doing homework. Oh, and trying to stay far far away from Starbucks and the wonderful Pumpkin Spice Latte. I've consumed almost 2000 calories of it since it came out. (So, Ive had like one a day this week... But I still feel like a fatty)
Tonight I'm just staying in and playing WoW.
Tomorrow I've gotta work in the morning, then at night I'm going to the FRG "Halfway Night" party. I'm really nervous about that. I went to the first few meetings, but then they switched the times and I haven't been able to make it since I typically work Saturday mornings so I still don't know anyone. However, if all else fails there is a cash bar.
