Yesterday was such a long but wonderful day. 
Waiting for our turn in the OR was the worst. The c/s went great. My OB told me that she loves my anatomy and wishes she could operate on people like me every day. I guess it's a compliment?
Ben tried his hardest to stay inside. She said that he had a good sized head, and she had a hold of him, then suddenly he was trying to get up under my ribs! It felt so weird. I think I'm pretty well bruised in there from the struggle.
He seems soooooo tiny, but is absolutely perfect. He has a very chill personality. We've been doing lots of cuddling.
I've had a shower and have been up walking around 3 times today. I take meds every time they offer them but the pain isn't as bad as I was expecting. Mostly, I feel like I did about 300 crunches yesterday.
Nate is having a hard time with us being away from home. Mom said he cried for me at bedtime yesterday and again this morning. They will come hang out after naptime. If tomorrow goes as well as today, we should be home after lunch.
