Anyone ever had them done? Are they hard to maintain?

Yeah, I doubt I can afford them but I figure I'll at least look into them because even if I let me hair grow out, it won't ever be as long as I want it because my hair is so fine!
I want Jessica Simpson hair but I'll have to pay for it, literally!

I've always wanted to try them, my hair changes so much so to go from short to long really quick could be fun.
I have done just pieces before like ponies and the flippy bun things, so that's fun and easy to do.

This! I remember she was telling me about a type of extension where you have a consultation with the hair stylist to pick out the hair you want, then they'll order it and when it comes in you go back and get it done. They take a few strands of your hair at a time and twist the fake hair in. Something like that. At her salon, it cost about $800-$1000 and takes about 8-9 hours to do, but it lasts a really long time.
There's another type where the hair is on little strips, and they glue it in. That last about 2 months. It's cheaper on only takes a few hours.
I could never get it done with my hair texture even though I wish I could. But those are just two examples that she was telling me. I don't know anything about hair. Lol
