oh great... just one more thing to worry about

HPV can cause cancer of the tonsils!

i am watching nightly news about a woman who got this through oral sex.

and if you don't think you could have HPV... it's pretty common. basically if you've had sex there's a strong likelihood you have been exposed to it (the american cancer society says "At least one-half of the people who have ever had sex will have HPV at some time in their life.") i know i have it because i had an abnormal pap. it is very easy for women to get and often has no symptoms.

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

  • Ugh! I was tested for it years ago, because I got a call from a guy I was sleeping with that went something like "hey. you should get tested for HPV because another girl I was banging got it, and I may have given it to you" Yeah. I was negative, but still no fun to think of,

Did you ask your gyno to retest you? I had an abnormal PAP once, he redid it, and it was fine. he said it wasn't uncommon for the samples to occassionally get contaminated during the analysis.
