Funny Mom Fail Story
DH picked Jane up from daycare last night (I was out all day at a Mets game for work and not sure I'd be home, but I was). He walks in with her saying "now before you say anything...." and rounds the corner with her. She's in a long sleeve shirt, a backwards diaper and bare feet. I'm all "what the hell happened to the rest of her clothes?"
Seems she got her jeans wet and there were no more replacement clothes in her cubby (she hasn't needed any in forever yet went through both sets this week and I forgot to replenish, I guess. Fail). So, they let her borrow someone else's pants......which she then pooped on. She hasn't poop-sploded in months. Her socks got in the poop, too. And they had her dipe on backwards b/c she was undoing it when it was on frontwards.
Her shoes.......got sent home with the wrong girl because she and Jane decided to trade shoes at some point. Other girl put Jane's on and Jane didn't have any, it seems.
It was sad, pathetic and cute at the same time.

I don't think that's a mommy fail...I think that was going to be a bad afternoon no matter if she had her own clothes or not!

Jo - the "fail" was just that I forgot to re-stock her extra clothes. She dosn't have that much cooler weather stuff to begin with and Momma didn't do the laundry mid-week this week. Sigh.
