stupid phone calls
Dh and I keep getting this phone call from absolute collections in san diego. They were leaving a message saying, "he needed to talk to DH or I before he makes his decision." Then he called my mother bc he found my maiden name and that we were related even though mom's name is different now. We have no debt and everything online says it a phishing debt collector that attacks phones or something like that.

Weird. I think you can get the phone company to blacklist certain phone numbers.
Also contact the FTC, the BBB, and the state AG's office with as much info as you can get!

that is really interesting i think you should def contact some of the people niq listed so that they don't contact you anymore.. or atleast people know that they're out there.
do you pull your credit report often? my first thought was identity theft but if you keep a close eye on your credit then you're probably ok.
