Yay Friday!! Woooooo.
We watched about 8 million episodes of Storage Wars last night, and still have about 9 million left. Derek's in love with that show. It is pretty entertaining.
Tonight BIL is coming down to visit with Erin (and us!) so we'll probably end up playing some board games, and they'll be drinking!
Saturday we should be starting work on the kitchen, which is super exciting.
What does everyone else have on the go this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Friday!
Yay for Friday. This week has been slow for some reason and I'm looking forward to it being over in a few hours. Quiet night tonight but we do have dinner reservations for tomorrow night which should be good. We're also renting a car again tomorrow and heading out to the driving range for a few hours - I LOVE being able to drive now, and we've joined Zipcar here and there's a car 2 minutes away from us that is usually free!
No plans for Sunday. I'm guessing just a lazy day in.

TGIF! It feels like it took forever to get here.
I think I am finally getting Zach's cold so we will see if I make it to any of the things I am supposed to do.
Tonight or Tomorrow morning I need to get 2 birthday gifts, and a baby shower gift.
Saturday afternoon, we have a 1 yr old B-day party to go to.
Sunday afternoon I have a baby shower to go to, and I need to find time to clean the house, get laundry done, and spend time with DH.
Have a great weekend ladies.
So happy it's Friday! It took its sweet time! And it's great out--it was in the 40s when I walked to the Metro this morning. I saw someone in a knit hat, gloves and puffy jacket, though--oh, D.C.
Nothing much going on this weekend. We're doing some planning for future things (like buying a new king bed, yay!), setting our schedule for the book festival and catching up on some of the to-dos on the book review website.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
TGIF!
It seems like short weeks always last the longest. I am so glad the weekend is here. DH is off this weekend so thats even better.
Tonight we are going to dinner that DH's work is hosting for them meeting their goal and safety expecations. I am really excited about it since we have a babyistter and I love some of the wives of the guys that work with Eli. Me and Eli NEVER have a baby sitter so It will be nice to eat supper without preston grabbing off my plate trying to get down. Then we are going to to go on and go get groceries while we don't have the boys.
Saturday is Jordan's first soccer game of the season so he is excited. He is going to have a daddy afternoon saturday. They have been building a deer stand so they are hoping to finish it while me and Preston go to a friends baby shower.
Sunday will be our lazy day to clean and just hang around the house.
ZOMG, I had a nightmare last night about teaching math class and lay awake from 2 am to 3 am. I'm just so frustrated with this whole process. It's not like I don't understand the concepts - I just totally suck at teaching them. I need a remedial course for teachers or something!
Other than that, I'm feeling good. Teaching math and drama has allowed me to feel a little more on top of things than the pile of marking that comes with English class. It's nice to have that break.

Morning everyone. I'm so happy it's Friday, although I think it is going to be a bit of a bear. I'm not sure if I told you ladies, but one of the other associates here transferred offices and another one quit, both within 2 weeks. So I am just slammed at work. The firm is working on hiring, but in the meantime, it's a bit crazy. I'm definitely looking forward to some down time over the weekend though.
Morning Ladies.
TGIF! This week has been super long and stressful. I am ready to forget all about it. I only have 10 days of work left but who's counting. I just hope I can make it, this is getting tough.
This weekend, I have a bachelorette party for a wedding I'm in this November so I will be joining for dinner and some girls time then heading home. I'm hoping DH can do a coat of paint as well. Other than that not much going on. I hope to take it pretty easy on Sunday but I am assuming I will do some cleaning instead.
Have a great weekend!
Morning.
I'm so happy it's finally Friday! I left my Young Professionals event early last night so I missed the door prize giveaways, and off course my name was drawn for a years worth of free pizza from a local restaurant and you have to be present to win. BUMMER, teach me to leave early!
Tonight we're having some friends over for a dinner. Tomorrow J and I both have an eye doctor appointment. I think I'm going to have to get glasses for the first time ever, starring at the computer all day has killed my eyes.
Sunday will be house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and some yard work.
Have a great weekend ladies!
Hey all!
Bailey, that sucks! A years worth of pizza would be amazing, haha!
H's team made the playoffs this year so I'm taking the train down this afternoon to go to the first playoff game...actually, it's the first game I've gone to this whole season. I was really tempted just to watch it on TV at home. I'm a bad basketball wife. I hope they win, though!
I'll spend the night at his place tonight, and then we're heading back to Boston for a wedding tomorrow night.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
Morning!
After an exhausting day at work yesterday all I wanted to do was sleep - but of course my friends made the early flight and are now in town. I wasn't feeling the hottest but we went out for sushi and then came home for some wine and stayed up way to late. So here I am starting today super tired.
Tomorrow we're going to a food truck round-up! 27 food trucks in one location. yum!
I slept so good last night with the cold breeze finally coming in. I have to remember that I can't freeze the house, though, considering Jackson might not take to it too well. We'll have to figure out what to do in the winter to help his room stay warm. It's the last on the heating circuit in the house, so it's usually an icicle in there.
Tonight we might be heading to dinner with B/SIL, but they need to get back to us and leave the kids with M/FIL. We debated leaving Jackson there, too, but I don't think they could handle all 3 kids at once. Plus, Jackson is still pretty easy to bring to restaurants. MIL also hasn't been listening to our wishes lately about how to look after him if she wants to spend time with him. It's really frustrating. She'll be awfully mad when we stop letting him go over there, because she just refuses. All she wants to do is snuggle him up in a chair the whole time, and he's just not into that anymore. Not to mention, when we're trying to keep him awake the hour before his bedtime, I don't need her putting him to sleep. Just play with him...I don't think that's a weird request. The woman actually cut off ciruculation to his feet one time because she had him all balled up.
Tomorrow we're helping friends move into their new (2nd) house. They wanted one closer to work on top of their ginormous house they have in the boonies. I'd like to know where they found the money tree, because DH and I both agree they shouldn't be able to afford both and the new car they just bought.
Sunday will be a sleeping day for us.
Happy Friday, ladies.
Good news from the cardiologist yesterday - no problems with my heart. Apparently I dodged the high risk factor genetic bullet and there's nothing wrong. The doctor can't explain the shortness of breath, and generally agreed with my own diagnosis of old, fat, and slow. He thinks I can train myself out of the symptoms with exercise and weight loss.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
I'm glad there doesn't seem to be any heart problems. Don't you already exercise like crazy though?? It seems as though you're always posting about 50 mile bike rides and day-long hikes!
Good afternoon!
Today was only a half day at work since my friends wedding rehearsal is this afternoon. I'm just getting ready to go have a shower and get ready.
Tonight we're all sleeping over there and then tomorrow is the big day!
Sunday morning I'm going to race 5 miles on very little sleep and I hope that goes well.
Have a great weekend.
Yay for Friday. Depending on the weather, we may go to the park to watch DH and friends play softball. Tonight's win determines whether or not they get into playoffs so I really hope we can make it. Afterwards, I'm sure we'll all go out for pizza.
Tomorrow, we're having a housewarming/fight night at our house and I'm so excited. I have lots to do but my MIL offered to watch Olivia tomorrow morning so I can clean and prep so I agreed. Now I'm not stressed about getting things done.
Sunday no plans yet. I'm hoping we can relax at home so I can clean up and get ready for the week. I'm sure football will be watched though.
I had a couple of meetings this morning, so I am just getting on today.
Tomorrow, we are going to Atlantic City. If you could send Nestie vibes that we win $10,000 that would be awesome.
Sunday is church. Jim is doing the blood drive afterwards. In a fit of man-brain, he signed me up too and of course I would be deferred. We will have to get groceries on Sunday and I'm going to make cookies for my SIL's dinner.
That's about it this weekend.

Hi Ladies! This school year has been kicking my butt, and I barely have any time to get on here anymore. I am trying to keep up though.
This weekend we are having a yard sale, hopefully getting rid of a ton of stuff that has just been taking up space in our attic.
I never got to go out to celebrate my birthday last month, so we are doing it tomorrow night with all our friends.
Sunday is football of course. Go Birds!
