What is the most stressful thing you have ever gotten yourself into???
For me its this house buying process. I had to ask my question to my realtor 3 times before he answered it with what I wanted to know. So far we are moving along and we should be in by Oct 8. I am so psyched for Juniors birthday! O and especially CAKE! We are getting one from Fred Meyer with an airplane on it and I think Elmo and Grover are in it. Which goes great with out theme of airplanes and his plates have sesame street on them and the alphabet.(He picked them out).
I also want to know if its possible to have a stressed induced period. I've already had my period for this month over a week and a half ago and I've started another one. Its never happened before.
Re: if i knew it was this stressful
probably my wedding. if my inlaws weren't involved in the planning process, then it wouldn'tve been so bad......they didn't "contribute" to the wedding, but kept saying "don't worry about it" when they made expensive demands. they ended us giving a "wedding gift" for 1/3 of the wedding costs.
i don't think so, i think stress makes periods go away.

also, you should google it. my last 2 periods, including the one i'm on currently have lasted over a week and i'm pretty stressed out.. maybe it is having the reverse effects on us..?? but i also just started on bcp again 3 months-ish ago and yeah.. who knows what's happening with me! i hope you get everything figured out!
I googled it and DH came up with implantation bleeding! bc a little TMI its really dark brown and mucousy...
I was on the same bcp since Nov. and then the manufacturer changed the pill they were giving to our pharmacy to a different generic of ortho-miconor 2 months ago. So IDK.
GL to you too!
Sorry about the wedding stress.
DH and I got married in a small meeting room in the back of FIL's work and had one of his co-workers whose also a minister marry us. We had his grandparents and parents and only my mom and younger brother were able to make it. My grandpa is more involved with his gf. I now wish I would have had a "real wedding"
All of that.
Planning my wedding make me a crazy person and it's worse because I plan events for a living.
Most stressful? My divorce.
I think the bar/law school was the most stressful. But, wedding and buying a house were pretty stressufl too! I have lots of stress! I don't deal with big things well. Good thing DH is so laid back.
I think stress effects your period: sooner, earlier, longer, shorter, always something wonky. TMI: I get the brown stuff b/f and after every period now, didn't use to. Hmmm...
My wedding four months ago. My least favorite part was figuring out transportation for the wedding party and guests staying in the hotel blocks, it stressed me out so much I assigned it to DH (then FI). It was great to wipe my hands from that. There was also family drama from wedding planning/wedding day.... but I try to block that stuff from my memories and focus on all the awesome of that day

Is your DH ever to laid back???
My DH is the same way, but I think he is too laid back. I've had to talk to everybody, make the phone calls, manage everything, etc. All while taking care of DS who has started throwing things (remote, clothes, toys) and then starts crying with tears.
FYI...yes, you can have two periods in a month from stress same as you can skip your period, or it can cause your period to be longer/heavier or shorter/lighter. Stress is ALL kinds of fun!! Every time I've traveled overseas, I got my period 2-3 weeks sooner than I should have, essentially getting 2 in a month. It sucked. As for the color...usually menstrual blood is bright or dark red (light pink when it's light flow). Dark brown - remind you of the odd dark brown/rust color of dried blood (say from when you've cut your finger?) -- that can happen when your lining is not flushing quickly from your uterus, but kind of "hanging around," the blood has a chance to oxidize which is why it turns that color, and clot a lot more, which is why it seems a little "chunky" and/or mucousy. Learning about our bodies
((BTW, I learned most of this over the past 3 months))
Most stressful time for me? The two weeks right before the wedding with all we had to do...and waiting to hear after we submitted the offer on our house. The rest of the buying process was more just antsy/waiting rather than stressful.
