Earlier this week, I started a negative post. How about celebrating Friday by sharing something really positive?

Re: Something positive post
Henry slept until 8:30 each morning this week. It was heaven to have my oatmeal and coffee all by myself. I was able to ease into each day and he woke up super happy. And my whole house is clean and tidy- except our office. That is a whole other beast I hope to work on this weekend.
It's been stressful planning this party for my parents, but I'm really excited for Sunday. It's all been a secret from them, and they were told just to keep the day open and not make any plans until after 4.
I called my mom and then my dad to give them a little information (with the approval from my sibs). I asked them first if they were planning on staying married for a while. They both had the same silly answer of , "eh... I guess so." They crack themselves up (genetic? yes.). Then I told them that all 4 of us and our families will be joining them for mass, and then we've arranged for them to renew their vows. After that, we'll all have breakfast together. They were both delighted. My dad said he'd be paying for breakfast.
Little do they know that 40 other friends and family will be coming to mass too, and then will be joining us for breakfast at the church all later. So excited!!
Very cool! Good job kids!
GRSP, that sounds fantastic! What fun.
My positive note is that tomorrow I get to meet a new baby and a new puppy.
We're going to Lansing and will first be visiting our friends with the new baby, and then we'll spend the rest of the day with SIL (and her BF) and the puppy. I may not agree with her getting the puppy, but I still plan to take full advantage of some puppy time.
We're headed up north tomorrow for some R&R with the in-laws. It should be fun.
That is sooo cool!
My positive is I started my new job on Monday and I love it!!
Yay for surprise plans, showers, fixed cars, new jobs, and quiet breakfast time!
I had an awful day with Ben yesterday, so this morning I resolved to make it good. We made muffins, painted pumpkins, played trains, and watched a movie all before nap. And wouldn't you know it, he went to his room happily and went to sleep in minutes without a peep.
AND I found nice cute sheet sets at Meijer Thrifty for $9 each. Love a good deal!
Yay for an awesome day!
And I love the Thrifty Acres! We find so much great stuff there. Henry's current convertible car seat was half the price they were selling it for on the website. Woo hoo for internet returns.
Oh I spend FAR too much money there, its only a mile from my house so we go often to find good deals
And also YAY for new babies, puppies, and R&R - missed those earlier I see
I hear that puppy breath is the sweetest smell in the world. I have no idea - this is just what everyone I used to work with always said!
