Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Grrr...mailbox-Update and PIP
Apparently our mailbox got knocked over last night. It's across the street from our house and in pretty bad condition (probably 22 years old), so it was probably really easy to knock over, but now we've got to buy a new one. I guess it could've possibly been hit by a car doing a three-point turn or something on that side of the street, but in all likelihood, it was probably the pot smoking kids that we called the police on last weekend. Ugh. I hope we don't have to keep dealing with crap like this because I love my house and neighborhood and I don't want to start hating it because of assh0le kids.
ETA: After closer inspection today, it seems like it was almost definitely hit by a car. It seems improbable that someone pushed it over with the way the metal was bent, so that made us feel a little better. Either way, we got a new post and mailbox today and it looks a million times better, especially with the stain I used on the post. Thank you to whoever knocked it over and forced us to move it up on our to-do list!

Yeah, we're considering reporting it, but since the kids weren't caught last weekend, we (and the police) don't know who they are/where they live, so I don't think anything will come out of the police report. Plus, there's no proof it wasn't done by a car, or even that it just fell over on it's own, so they'll probably just take the report and stick it in a file.
