S/O Healthy food - Ingredients

What is your ideal # of ingredients?

Do you count spices as an ingredient? Even though they take little to no time to add?

  • it depends... if it's something i have and use regularly...then i don't think i'd count it. i.e. salt. it's sitting right by the stove, and recipe's usually call for a "pinch" "dash" or "to taste"...so it's simple. if it's something i don't normally use...then it becomes more of a hassle. i'm not good at follow recipes. i never measure anything unless i'm baking.

  • I love cooking and I don't shy away from recipes with long lists. I actually find them kind of fun to conquer.

  • kari- i'm the opposite. i love to cook but recipes that require a lot of work rarely happen in my house. i bet if i just buy the ingredients and then keep trying new things, i'll actually use the ingredients more than once.. i'm just too lazy for that iguess.

    plus, H seems like he only wants to eat grilled chicken lately... and scrambled eggs.
