For the ladies not TTC and on birth control - apparently there is a major recall for the following pills:

Cyclafem 7/7/7, Cyclafem 1/35, Emoquette, Gildess FE 1.5/30, Gildess FE 1/20, Orsythia, Previfem and Tri-Previfem

I guess they messed up the packaging and the pills are all in the wrong order.

My favorite quote: A spokesman for Qualitest Pharmaceuticals said that "there are no immediate health issues currently" because of the packaging problems. Rather, he said, "the chief concern is that women may unintentionally become pregnant after taking the oral contraceptive." Um. . . that might be an immediate health concern!

Wow....the spokesman is a bone head. Lucky for me, I take Mircette. Although I'll have been on it 13 years next year and my Dr. says "you're almost 40 and on the same BC since '99. We're going to have to think of an alternative next year; perhaps a tubal ligation." Great. Hopefully I can get DH to go in and get taken care of since his procedure is a lot simpler than mine!! The perfect 40th birthday present...

I'm trying to spread the word about the Qualitest Pharmaceuticals recall of birth control packs. From what the news is saying there?s over 1.2 million! I just heard that there is a class action suit for the recall. If this has affected you or anyone that you know you may be able to get compensation. Please spread the word.
