When do they do the second credit pull?
I know they do a second credit pull just prior to closing. We close on Friday... Do you think they did it already? Or is it a day of type of thing. We haven't charged anything or opened anything new so we should be fine. I just have this irrational fear that something crazy will pop up.

I pull a soft credit report at the same time I am signing off on all final conditions for the clear to close. If you have had any recent inquiries, I ask for a letter from you to see what they are, and if any new debt has been established. If your credit balances have shot up, thus increasing your monthly payment, I will reapprove your loan with those figures to make sure you are within DTI. Any accounts that have gone past due must be brought current.
Most of the time the soft pull is not an issue unless you have established new debt or run up your credit cards.
