Dr follow up - surgery for sure

Blood work confirmed PCOS.  The 2 things they look at in my blood to see if I have this should have a 1:2 ratio.  Most people with PCOS have a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio.  Mine is 2:1.  So, it's not severe (good) but I do still have it.  It also explains why I do not have some of the big symptoms a lot of women get (extra hair, manly looking amongst others).

So, after talking with the doctor and DH we decided to procede with surgery.  It is called a chromotubation where he will puncture and put holes in my ovaries to induce ovulation.  He will also inject dye to check for blockage in my tubes.  It's out-patient but I will be down for a couple of days.  So, we decided to do it after Disney and before I go back to work from vacation.

I really don't want to have to tell people why I took days off if I did it after vacation.  Ladies at work are nosy and there are very FEW that know what is going on with me (like 2 outside of my team).

So, sometime between December 27 and January 3 I'll have this surgery.  Then I'll take Clomid again and in my doctor's words, "Get pregnant".

He also did not put the reason for surgery as fertility because insurance doesn't cover fertility stuff.  So, that means insurance will cover it (or should) and that makes me happy.  I <3 this doctor A LOT!

His wife does all the billing for the office too and she's super nice and willing to work with patients on payment plans if they need them.  We shouldn't but I didn't know how much this surgery would cost :)

So, there you have it.  I'll have more holes soon, lol!
